How much does web development cost in India?
A business website costs ₹25,000 to ₹60,000. Ecommerce is ₹60,000 to ₹1,50,000 depending on product count and payment integration. Custom platforms start around ₹1,50,000. The biggest variable is content — a site where you supply text and photographs costs noticeably less than one where we write and source everything.
Do you work with businesses outside Chandigarh?
Yes. We are based in Chandigarh and most of our work is for businesses elsewhere in India. Development happens remotely with calls when they help. Being local matters for local search strategy, not for where code is written.
Who owns the website when it is finished?
You do — the code, the domain and the hosting account. Ask this of any agency before signing. If any of those stay with them, the price is not the price; it is a deposit on a subscription you cannot leave.
How long does a website take to build?
Two to four weeks for a business site once content is ready, four to eight for ecommerce. The largest cause of delay is content: most projects that run late are waiting on text and photographs from the client, not on development.
Will the website be SEO friendly?
It will be structured for search — proper headings, schema markup, fast loading, internal links that describe where they go. That is not the same as ranking. A well-built site gives search engines no reason to overlook it; ranking is ongoing work and a separate cost.
